Cornerstone Academy

Cornerstone Academy will host it’s annual Scholastic Book Fair October 18-25th. Parents, volunteers are needed to help setup the cases on Friday October 16th. We will also need help operating the book fair on Sunday mornings and during the week. Please sign-up for a slot with your child’s homeroom teacher or send an email to academy@cbcarlington.org to become a volunteer. Be sure to list your t-shirt size.

The Book Fair is open to the community and all proceeds benefit our school so….spread the word!

President Obama’s national televised speech on education will be shown on campus at Cornerstone Academy located at Cornerstone Baptist church on Tuesday September 8th at 11am. Students should arrive by 10:30am to be seated.

Arlington Independent School District Superintendent Jerry McCullough has granted permission for AISD students to attend the event as an excused absence. Parents must contact their child’s home campus prior to attending the viewing. Mansfield ISD parents and students are encouraged to contact their school and ask for the same.

Free lunch will be provided for the first 100 students to sign up. Please type “Presidential Speech” in the comments section on the Contacts page to register.
